“Heavy bell” to former police officers who tortured two African-Americans in Mississippi

A former police officer in the state of Mississippi, who was found guilty at trial in the case of torture along with five of his colleagues of two African-Americans, was sentenced on Tuesday (19/3) to serve a sentence of 20 years in prison. Hunter Ellward and five former colleagues – all six of them white – were found guilty in August in this southern state of torturing the victims for nearly two hours.
