The two names appear with other variations, such as: Maria Helena, in 36th position; João Miguel, on the 24th; Luiz Miguel, on the 73rd; Arthur Miguel, on the 74th; and José Miguel, in the 82nd.
Several names gained popularity in Brazil and appear for the first time in the ranking that includes the 100 most popular.
Among the female ones are: Hadassa, Diana, Ayla Sophia, Isabel, Elis and Joana.
As for the men: Léo, Ravi Lucca, Tomás, Asafe, José Pedro, Kalel, Dom, Thales and Israel.
Names spelled differently but sounding the same or very similar are counted together, eg Ellena and Helena, David and Davi.
The spelling on the list was the most frequent in the BabyCenter data, for example, there were more Sophia what Sofia🇧🇷 This includes whether or not to use an accent.
