The 12-year-old girl who survived the helicopter crash that in the vicinity of Rodovia dos Bandeirantes, last Thursday (16) he was medically discharged on the afternoon of this Wednesday (22).
The girl is the daughter of business couple André FeldmanCEO of the company BiG Brazil, and his wife, Juliana Alves Feldman. Both were found dead at the site of the aircraft crash.
Medical discharge takes place almost a week after hospitalization. In a statement, the company BiG Brazil said that the girl is fine and also reported that the helicopter pilot, Edenilson de Oliveira Costa, is scheduled to be discharged this Friday (24).
The couple’s daughter spent hours in the Morro do Tico-Tico forest until she was rescued on the morning of last Friday (17).
About the accident
An EC 130B4 model helicopter, registration number PRWVT, crashed in Caieiras, in the metropolitan region of São Paulo, in Morro do Tico-Tico, close to Rodovia dos Bandeirantes, on Thursday night (16). The aircraft, which had taken off from São Paulo bound for Americana, lost GPS signal at around 8:34 pm.
On board were the pilot Edenilson de Oliveira Costa, the couple André and Juliana Feldman, and the couple’s 12-year-old daughter.
Rescue teams, including the Águia helicopter from the Military Police, Fire Department and Civil Defense, began the search in the early hours of Friday (17). Adverse weather conditions, with heavy rain and closed weather, made operations difficult.
According to a missing persons report registered by the victims’ families, last Thursday (16), the aircraft took off in heavy rain.
The causes of the accident continue to be investigated by Cenipa (Aeronautical Accident Investigation and Prevention Center).
