Tomorrow, Coolpad will unveil a new mid-range smartphone called Coolpad Cool 2, the images and specifications of which appeared before the official announcement.
The Coolpad Cool 2 smartphone will be based on the MediaTek Helio G80 single-chip system, while the predecessor of the smartphone was equipped with the Helio P30. The smartphone will receive 128 GB of flash memory, as well as a slot for microSD memory cards with a capacity of up to 256 GB.

Coolpad claims that the Coolpad Cool 2 smartphone uses the EROFS file system developed by Huawei, which allows files to take up more space and is also faster than F2FS.
The smartphone will receive a dual camera with a resolution of 48 megapixels and image processing technology from Arcsoft. The camera has night mode, portrait mode and HDR support. The front camera has a resolution of 13 megapixels.

On both sides, the smartphone is covered with a protective glass with oleophobic glass, which is resistant to scratches. Out of the box, it will run the proprietary Cool OS shell.
