For the period from May 30 to June 2, 2022, due to the widespread cases of Covid-19, the World Exhibition of Industrial Technology Hannover Messe is transferred, whose official representative in Greece and Cyprus is the Hellenic-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The decision was made by the organizing authority, Deutsche Messe AG.
“The exhibition was originally scheduled for April, but the high number of Covid-19 incidents in Germany and in many neighboring countries forced us to decide – together with our exhibitors – to postpone Hannover Messe’s schedule.
“Last year proved that the summer months are the best time for big events, as the number of pandemic cases is significantly reduced,” said Dr. Jochen Köckler, CEO of Deutsche Messe AG.
This year’s exhibition will last four days due to the fullness of the Hannover Exhibition Center in June, while from 2023, the Hannover Messe will return to its regular five-day event.
