For almost 20 years, Hollywood has tried to bring to the big screen Masters Of The Universe, a remake of the iconic 1987 film featuring the muscular hero we all knew in our childhood: He-Man.
Although in 2019 it was announced that Noah Centineo would be in charge of playing the famous superhero, a month ago it was confirmed that the actor was withdrawing from the project. However, everything seems to indicate that Thor and Superman want the coveted role.
Anyone would be perfect for the role
According to different reports, Henry Cavill and Chris Hemsworth are fighting for the main role and although it is said that Sony has shown a preference for the Australian, the actor of The Witcher he is doing the impossible to win.
Neither of the two celebrities or any of their representatives have declared anything about it, but considering the sudden departure of Centineo, the selection process for the actor who will play He-Man could take a long time.
The British actor already has a project on the doorstep
Whether it’s the man of steel or the god of thunder leading this project, Cavill already has another tape on the doorstep. The attractive Englishman will be the protagonist of the film Highlander, based on the 1986 original with Christopher Lambert, Sean Connery and Clancy Brown.
Directed by Chad Stahelski and written by Kerry Williamson, Highlander tells the story of three immortal beings dedicated to searching and hunting each other around the world to be the most powerful of all. There are no details yet on the rest of the cast or release date.
