Her fiancé stood her up at the altar and she went ahead with the wedding and enjoyed it!

In different movies we have seen the fictional stories of brides who were planted at the altar. Some of these heroines, overcoming their misfortune, decide to take advantage of their honeymoon, since the reservations were ready. In addition, they were convinced that the best way to overcome such an unexpected and painful breakup was to put land in the middle.

But, surpassing all fiction, we learned the true story of a girl who did what we would never have imagined. Kayley Stead made the difficult decision to continue with her wedding celebration even though the marriage would never take place, as she would not allow her sadness to defeat her.

The excited bride was preparing for the moment that would be the happiest of her life; She was finishing her makeup and putting the finishing touches on her hair when she found out that her fiancé, who had been her partner for almost four years, was simply not going to attend the wedding.

One of the groomsmen contacted my best friend to tell her that the groom had left. They hid my phone, so they could decide what was the best way to tell me and not let me find out from someone else.

Filled with uncertainty, Kayley contacted the groom’s father and he confirmed that his son would not be attending the wedding. The blow was brutal for her, she could not stop crying and could not understand why the person she considered the love of her life was doing something so cruel to her.

At that moment, the cameraman of the event suggested to the bride and her bridesmaids that they continue with the party, since so many expenses had already been made and they would not be able to recover the money invested. Plus, he reminded Kayley that all of her guests were already there, so why not do it? The bride’s sister also supported the cameraman’s idea.

That’s when I thought, I’m going to do it. I had spent all this money, I had been looking forward to food, a dance with my dad, spending time with my family, so why not?

Kayley made her grand entrance to the party singing the song good as hell, from Lizzo, and hit the top of her wedding cake. In addition, she danced with her father, her brothers and the groomsmen to the rhythm of From Here to the Moon and Backby Dolly Parton.

After the peculiar event, Kayley’s friends set up a GoFundMe page to try to help her recover some of the money she lost from her failed wedding. She is very grateful to her friends and family for all that they have supported her to face all this. Obviously, her ex-partner did not want to comment on it.
