Here is the new Nokia 6310 (and 5 mobile phones for less than 100 euros)

For the nostalgic of the past, HMD Global – Finnish company that develops Nokia-branded mobile phones – has announced the launch of the new version of the iconic Nokia 6310 which returns twenty years after its first debut!

Equipped with a polycarbonate shell that recalls the design of the original model, the new version features a 2.8-inch QVGA color display flanked by a 0.3 megapixel rear camera with flashlight and one removable battery from 1150 mAh able to resist for weeks between one recharge and the other: the video game Snake and functionality FM Radio.

“We still offer that build quality in all of our devices. We recently launched the new Nokia XR20, a smartphone designed to last which, in my eyes, is like a modern Nokia 3310 encased in a smartphone; and now the Nokia 6310 is back and better than ever. For all lovers of feature phones, it embodies the iconic original model and, if the its 2.8-inch curved screen may be a novelty, the familiar design and functionality remain the same. After going down in history as one of the pioneers who brought mobile phones to the mainstream in 2001, its impact 20 years later does not surprise me indeed, it is a tradition that the new Nokia 6310 will extend over the next 20 years “he declares. Adam Ferguson, Head of Product Marketing di HMD Global.

Although it wants to resemble its ancestor, Nokia’s new mobile phone offers a set of larger buttons, new features and enlarged menus so that they can be consulted more easily. In addition, it takes advantage of the proprietary operating system Series 30+ and recharges via the micro USB connector.

Already available in Italy in black and green, the new Nokia 6310 is on sale at 59 euro.

However, if you intend to buy a new mobile phone without spending too much: from Brondi to Panasonic, you can find out in the gallery 5 mobile phones on sale for less than 100 euros.
