Here’s who suggested Prince Harry use JR Moehringer as a ghostwriter

The hype around does not subside Shootthe memoir of the prince Harry, on the contrary, news and new indiscretions emerge day after day. The last concerns JR Moehringer, volume ghostwriter. According to Tina Brown, journalist and author of The Palace Paper, it would have been George Clooney to direct the Duke of Sussex towards the Pulitzer Prize-winning writer, who was undoubtedly a master at digging through Harry’s memories and bringing to light his deepest emotions, from those related to the death of his mother Diana to feelings of protection towards his wife Meghan Markle.

In reality, the news is not new at all: rumors about it were already circulating in 2021, thanks to the fact that Moehringer is very close to George Clooney and his wife Amal Alamuddinin turn great friends of Harry and Meghan, so much so that they were also present at their wedding in Windsor, in May 2018.

George Clooney is also currently working on a big screen adaptation of The Tender Bar, book written by Moehringer in 2005, and which will have Oscar winner Ben Affleck as the protagonist.

Prince Harry and the author would have worked side by side for about a year to ensure that Spare could take shape, at least so he assures Page Six. Moehringer, for his part, is not new to successes. He’s the man behind it Open: An Autobiography, the bestselling book on the life of Andre Agassi. Harry played it safe with his choice, decidedly well advised by his friend, to whom he is linked by a common interest in philanthropy, but Amal Alamuddin and Markle would also be very close: it was the lawyer who helped the former actress settle in on her arrival in London.

However, in the end things turned out very differently from what many imagined. Until the break with the royal family.
