A new horror trailer from A24 “Heretic” was released this Monday (14). The title hits Brazilian cinemas on November 20th . The production company is known for films of the genre such as “The Witch” (2015), “Hereditary” (2018), “Midsommar: Evil Does Not Wait for the Night” (2019) and more.
In the plot, two Devoted young missionaries end up trapped in the home of a mysterious man, where they are forced to participate in a disturbing game that challenges their faith and calls into question everything they believe.
The title stars Hugh Grant (“A Place Called Notting Hill” and “Bridget Jones’s Diary”), Sophie Thatcher (“Bogeyman: The Tale”) and Chloe East (“The Fabelmans”).
The direction is Scott Beck and Bryan Woods duo responsible for “The House of Terror” (2019) and the script for “A Quiet Place” (2018).
