Hezbollah confirms death of commander Muhammad Srour

Hezbollah confirmed that one of its commanders, Muhammad Hussein Srour, was killed this Thursday (26), but did not elaborate on the circumstances surrounding the death.

The Iran-backed group said Srour was killed “on the road to Jerusalem,” referring to those fighting to support people in Gaza, in a statement released shortly after midnight on Friday. location.

Earlier on Thursday, the Israeli army said attacks on Beirut’s southern suburbs killed Srour. Israeli forces said the man was the head of Hezbollah’s Air Command.
