Hezbollah official: Contact with Safieddin has been lost since Friday

A Hezbollah official said contact with Sayed Hashem Safieddin, who had been floated as a possible successor to Lebanon’s pro-Iranian movement leader Hassan Nasrallah, was “lost” after Israeli strikes targeted the Hezbollah stronghold near Beirut on Friday.
