THE intense heat is expected to continue in much of Brazil this Wednesday (22) especially for the Southeast states. According to Climatempo’s forecast, the day should be “hot” like a “high oven”.
Temperatures of almost 40ºC were observed in areas of the four states (Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo) on Tuesday (21).
Intense heat of around 40ºC continues this Wednesday (22) in the Southeast, which should cause an increase in heavy clouds throughout the day. There are showery conditions in almost all regions in the afternoon and evening.
The refreshment should only arrive at the weekend, when rainy conditions increase, which should reduce the temperature in the states.
São Paulo has the hottest dawn
For the fourth day in a row, São Paulo broke the record for the hottest dawn in 2025. On Tuesday (21), the minimum temperature at dawn in the capital was 23.9ºC.
