The Federal Highway Police of Paraná (PRF) seized on the morning of Tuesday (1), 673.5 kg of cocaine in a soy -laden trailer loaded . The approach took place on BR-487, in Alto Paraíso, border of the state of Paraná with Mato Grosso do Sul.
The driver was identified as a 52 -year -old man, a resident of Ponta Porã (MS). The individual informed the police that he carried the drug under the load of soybeans in Amambai (MS), and would deliver it in Paranaguá.
The final destination is where Latin America’s largest Granary Port, often used for drug trafficking for Europe is located.
So far, this has been the greater drug seizure carried out by the PRF in Brazil this year . In the state of Paraná, 1.2 ton of cocaine has already been seized.
