The BR-101 in Palhoça, Santa Catarina municipality, was released around 5:10 am after the cargo was removed during the early hours of Monday (7), after a tanker truck loaded with fuel to fall and explode.
The accident happened at km 233 of the highway and left a trail of fire on the track. According to the Federal Highway Police (PRF), the tipping occurred around 1:30 pm this Sunday (06), at the time of Morro dos Cavalos.
About 21 vehicles and four trailers were hit by the flames, totaling five people were injured, including the trailer driver and his wife.
