The government of the Federal District planned, for the 7th of September, security actions in case of protests or acts, like the one that occurred on the 8th of January.
Access to the federal capital is monitored by the Civil Police and the Federal Highway Police (PRF). The intelligence core and security agencies are also monitoring the evolution of the number of hotel reservations, according to the government.

The executive secretary of the Secretariat of Public Security, Alexandre Patury, said that preparations for September 7th began on April 14th. Since then, 27 meetings have been held, 19 of which with the participation of federal government bodies.
As for the staff to be employed at the event, the secretary did not give numbers “for security reasons”, but said that it will be greater than in the presidential inauguration and on September 7, 2022.
Patury also stated that, despite the public expectation for the event being 30,000 people, the Public Safety bodies will be ready to act as if the Esplanada were full.
“[O 7 de Setembro é um] important civic moment. We will not lose to fear. We’ll be there like we’ve never been before.”
The announcement was made after a meeting between representatives of the district government and security forces. The Federal Police (PF), the Federal Highway Police (PRF) and the Brazilian Intelligence Agency (Abin) were present.
Who is leading the so-called institutional mobilization office, which makes security planning, is the deputy governor of the Federal District, Celina Leão (PP). She, however, did not participate in the meeting on Monday (4).
