Things get a little more fun when you add a seat
HIPER Triumph M88s has a strict and stylish black aluminum body with yellow accents, which differs from competitors in relative thinness and elegance. Given the weight of 13.7 kg, we can talk about mobility as one of the advantages of the M88s. At least you can’t exactly call a heavy scooter.
In addition to charging, several hexes and a wrench, the HIPER Triumph M88s package also includes a removable seat – in my opinion, this is the most interesting part of the scooter. Installing the add-on is easy, since all the necessary tools are carefully packed in a separate bag. The superstructure is held quite tightly, there are no fears that the seat will fall off while driving. In general, the assembly of the M88s is commendable: all parts of the scooter feel solid and solid.
For convenient movement, however, you have to pay with a funny appearance. Taking a seated scooter seriously is a little more difficult – for me this is not a problem, but worth mentioning. The comfort of this solution exceeded all my expectations. The already soft seat has built-in springs that smooth out any bumps on the road. And, in general, sitting is always more convenient than standing.
On the steering wheel of the M88s there is a minimalistic screen with basic technical information: speed, operating mode and battery charge. Its brightness is quite enough for comfortable visibility in the sun. Under the display is the power button, double-clicking on which switches the maximum speed limiter. In total, the scooter has three of them: 10, 15 and 25 km / h.
The throttle lever is made of rubber that is pleasant to the touch, on which your finger does not slip. It is pressed more than smoothly, which is good news. If you hold it in the maximum position for a few seconds, the scooter will activate the cruise control (previously indicating this with a special sound). In this mode, the device will adhere to the maximum speed without the need to press on the gas.
Not to mention the lighting of the HIPER Triumph M88s. The scooter is equipped with a single headlight at the front and an LED to indicate braking at the rear. The frontal light is enough to illuminate the road at night, but no more.

Smooth and comfortable ride
The scooter picks up speed extremely cheerfully – at first I even deliberately chose a slower mode to get used to it. I had no problems with driving up the hill, the M88s has enough power even for fairly steep obstacles. By the way, in addition to the springs in the seat, the pits on the roads are also softened by soft wheels, which spring well due to the air inside.
HIPER Triumph M88s is equipped with a dual braking system: when you press the handle on the handlebar, both disc and electronic brakes are activated. This allows the scooter to brake smoothly even at high speeds.
Despite the presence of a seat in the kit, no one forces you to ride with it – the scooter is complete even without this add-on. In this case, HIPER Triumph M88s is a classic scooter. The maximum load on the device is 130 kg, and the allowable height of the user is 130-200 cm.
Power reserve and charging
Stable 25+ kilometers without surprises
According to the manufacturer, the scooter is able to travel up to 27 kilometers on a single charge. This figure is not far from reality, however, depending on the intensity of use and external factors, the final result may differ by 1-2 kilometers. After the battery runs out, the scooter gradually loses strength, reducing speed – in this state, it is able to cover another kilometer, which may be enough to get home. Charging from zero to hundreds takes about 6.5 hours. To indicate the process, an LED on the power supply is used.

After two weeks of use
Having got to know the HIPER M88s better, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and smoothness of the scooter. It does not play parts, buttons do not stick and springs do not creak – in general, the assembly is “excellent”. The main feature of the model in the apparently removable seat leaves only positive emotions and, in my opinion, is a really convenient solution. Summing up, I could not find any cons for this model. In my opinion, this is a great scooter for city trips.
