The mayor of Hiroshima said today that Donald Trump must visit the Japanese city to find out the devastating consequences of the Japanese nuclear weapons, following the comparison made by the US president between the recent US aircraft in Iranian aircraft. “It seems to me that he really does not understand what bombing with atomic bomb bombings that remove the lives of many innocent citizens (…) and threaten the survival of the human species,” Mayor Kazumi Matsui told reporters. “I would like President Trump to come here to understand what an atomic bomb bombing is and to experience Hiroshima’s feeling,” he added. The US dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945 and another in Nagasaki on the 9th of the same month. These are the only incidents in history that used nuclear weapons in times of war.
