His family is worried that the teenager’s younger brother may have died in the same incident at Kabul airport.

The child was eventually identified and his family spoke to Vice News, recalling the horrific experience. How they found his lifeless body when he fell from the plane.

“His legs and arms were missing. “I brought him back alone,” said a relative. The two children, 17-year-old and 16-year-old, secretly left the house on Monday to go to the airport, amid panic from the Taliban advance on Kabul.

His family said they heard rumors that 20,000 people would be transported safely to Canada or the United States.

“Without saying anything to anyone at home, he took his ID and went to the airport.” The children were among those trying to catch the moving plane, wanting to climb on it.

In the video they are shown two people falling when the plane takes off. U.S. sources say at least seven people were killed, including two who were killed by U.S. soldiers.

“We are just happy to be free. We found the body of one of them, but the other is still unknown. “We hope to find him alive or dead, so that the family can be comforted,” said another member.

Another said: “His mother is devastated, she faints every three or so”…
