Armenian Prime Minister Nicole Pasinian had a meeting in Constantinople with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan as part of his official visit to Turkey. This visit is considered a milestone in trying to normalize relations between the two countries. Attending the Palace of Dolmabahce, where the meeting took place, were, among other things, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan and Armenian Parliament President Allen Simonian, who was a “first -time”. The meeting discussed relations between Turkey and Armenia, as well as developments in the South Caucasus and the wider region.
