The name arrived today: it will be Simone Rocha to sign the H&M spring capsule. We know that the collection will be launched onMarch 11 2021, on the occasion of the celebration of the first decade of the Irish designer’s brand who, for the first time, will sign a wardrobe designed for the whole family. In addition to the items from donna, in fact, there will also be men’s and children’s ones.
HOW WILL THE SIMONE ROCHA x H&M COLLECTION BE?
What do we expect to see? Everything, why Simone Rocha ed H&M have seen fit to offer us a rich fashion proposal consisting of special formal dresses, in tulle and tailoring, but also a more casual part consisting of knitwear, shirts and outerwear.
Without forgetting the accessories part: from jewels to sneakers (obviously in full Rocha style too).
As a designer, and as a client, I’ve been a huge fan of previous H&M co-labs. Margiela, Alber Elbaz, Comme des Garcons: it’s an incredible list that I join
But, the real news is that the capsules will be a 100% tribute to the Rocha world: we will find the Tudor style that distinguishes it, that of a doll that makes us dream, but also flowers and beads, tartan and tailor-made work.
Yes, because to create it Simon fished directly, and with both hands, in his archive, recovering past collections and re-editing them in the present. In short, the best news that the many fans of the brand could have.
Simone Rocha has long been on H & M’s wish list
