Sandra, a renowned designer hid inside his 900 square meter historic mansion a shocking amount of objects accumulated, which went from floor to ceiling.
Her life story is told in the ninth season of the series “Hoarders”, which shows the attempts to save the woman while going through an eviction process for not wanting to leave the property. After Sandra left the space, it became a venue for events and vacation rentals.
In the rooms of the residence built in 1929, the designer gathered countless decorative items, toys and piles of trash — making movement through the mansion’s corridors and stairs almost impossible.
Sandra started accumulating the items after creating her company, justifying that they were for the business.
However, after a delicate problem involving her finances, she lost the right to live in the residence, which was sold to a man named Michael. Even though she could no longer stay in the mansion, she continued to hide there and refuse to take her belongings and find another place to live.
After six months, Sandra received an eviction process with a ten-day limit and had to start vacating the property — a movement accompanied by the “Hoarders” program.
She then lives in a van parked outside the house, taking some of her belongings and also her pets.
Sandra’s full story will be shown this Friday (15th) at 11pm on TV Record, right after the reality show A Fazenda.

After the house was delivered, the space became a place for events and seasonal stays — called the Julian Price House.
“In 2017, the house was featured in the two-hour season finale of ‘Hoarders.’ The property has undergone an extensive 2-year restoration by its current owners of the interior spaces and grounds,” says the listing for the space on a booking app.
According to the establishment’s website, the mansion has five decorated rooms and more than six thousand square meters of garden. A piano, sound system, fireplace, air conditioning and full kitchen are available to guests.
For vacation rentals, the house accommodates up to eleven people and it is possible to reserve just one of the rooms at a time or the entire space. Daily rates range from around R$1,500 to around R$12,000.
