Hocus Pocus 2, the first trailer of the sequel with the three witch sisters is out

Tremble, tremble, the witches are back. Hocus Pocus 2, the sequel to the Halloween cult of nearly thirty years ago is about to peek out with a new, hilarious adventure. Coming September 30 to Disney +, the classic brings back Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy. The Sanderson sisters (Winifred, Mary and Sarah respectively) and their exquisite evil are seeking revenge after being resurrected from the 17th century and catapulted into actuality thanks to the lighting of the Black Flame Candle. Before chaos breaks out again, these three must be stopped. Three teens played by Whitney Peak try it (Gossip Girl), Lilia Buckingham (Dirt) and Belissa Escobedo (American Horror Stories).

In this second chapter as director we find Anne Fletcher, who takes the reins of the story after Kenny Ortega. The first pictures see two modern day students struggling with an archaic ritual, a sort of birthday marathon for the 16 years but with a surprise ending. They can’t imagine unleashing the return of the unpredictable trio of witches … And yes, the three were dead at the end of the first film (also available on Disney +) but now they are back.
