The Palestinian movement of Hamas warned today, in view of the attack by Israel preparing to launch in the city of Gaza, that the Israeli hostages, which it holds, will face the “same dangers” with its own fighters. “We will take care of the prisoners (hostages) as best we can, and they will be with our fighters in the battles and conflicts, will be subject to the same dangers and the same living conditions,” a statement released by Hamas. “For every prisoner who will be killed in the attack, we will publish his name, his photo and proof of his death,” he adds to the text attributed to the spokesman for Hamas’s armed wing, known as the war nickname Abu Obidida.
