The Japanese automaker Honda decided to try their hand at a new direction for themselves and enter the electric scooter market. For the sake of mastering a new direction, Honda even created a separate company, Striemo Inc, as part of the IGNITION program.
The first product developed by the new Honda company was a three-wheeled scooter, which the manufacturer itself positions as an electric micromobility product. The unusual vehicle was named Striemo, in honor of the new “daughter” of Honda.

The Striemo three-wheeled scooter features a unique design with a center of gravity calculated to the nearest tenth of a millimeter and an original balance support mechanism designed specifically for it. This provides the scooter with high stability when driving at any speed – from the minimum, comparable to walking, to the maximum, like when riding a bicycle.
“Striemo is a new mobility product developed using the ‘human research’ know-how that I have accumulated through my motorcycle development experience at Honda. My goal is to make Striemo one of the most used means of transportation in the daily lives of people around the world and make improvements that will help you enjoy ease and freedom of movement,” said Jotaro Mori, co-founder and CEO of Striemo Inc.

The official premiere of the Striemo scooter will take place as part of the Viva Technology exhibition, which will be held in Paris from 15 to 17 June. In the Japanese market, sales of the new Honda vehicle will start before the end of this year, and in Europe it will appear only next year.
