HONOR introduced a very cheap smartphone, it does not even have a fingerprint scanner

HONOR quietly launched a new smartphone called the HONOR X5 on the international market. This is an ultra-budget device with the appropriate characteristics, but at the same time, the smartphone runs on the Android 12 Go operating system, which is well adapted for such devices.

The HONOR X5 features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch for the 5MP front camera. The back panel has a texture that resembles leather. There is also a large square block of the main camera, consisting of one 8 MP module and an LED flash. The camera supports 1080p video recording.

The novelty is built on the MediaTek Helio G25 hardware platform with a PowerVR GE8320 graphics accelerator. The smartphone has 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of permanent memory. It is possible to expand the internal memory using microSD cards. A battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh is responsible for autonomous operation, charging is carried out via a micro-USB port. It is also worth noting that the device does not have a fingerprint scanner; face recognition is used to unlock it.

The HONOR X5 is available in three color options: Sunrise Orange, Ocean Blue and Midnight Black. The cost depends on the region. For example, in Jordan, the price of a smartphone is set at 75 Jordanian dinars (approximately 7,255 rubles).
