Honor is preparing to announce the new flagship series of smartphones Honor Magic 3, but so far the results of testing new items have appeared in the database of the popular test application Geekbench.
The results confirm that the performance of this engineering sample is higher than that of any already released mobile phone based on the Snapdragon 888 SoC. The novelty scored 1215 points in single-threaded mode, while using all the cores, the result was 3806 points. The smartphone runs on Android 11. For comparison, you can recall that the top gaming flagship Black Shark 4 Pro is gaining 1130 and 3700 points in this test, and the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra test results are about 1000 and 3300 points, respectively.

According to previous information, the Honor Magic 3 will be powered by an improved version of the Snapdragon 888, dubbed the Snapdragon 888 Plus. This will explain some superiority of Honor Magic 3 over other Android flagships.
It is reported that the smartphone will receive a 6.76-inch AMOLED display manufactured by BOE. The display will have a resolution of 2772 x 1344 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and support for high dynamic range HDR10 +.
It will be available with 8/12 GB of RAM and 128/256/512 GB of flash storage. The phone will be powered by a 4500mAh battery that will support 66W fast charging. The device will receive NFC and a proprietary Magic UI 5.0 shell based on Android 11 with Google services.
The Honor Magic 3 series will be unveiled on August 12th.
