Honor has officially announced that it is postponing the first sale of its recently unveiled Magic4 Pro. The company has postponed the start of sales of the device for 20 days.
The Chinese smartphone maker originally planned to release the phone on April 2, 2022. After the postponement of the release date of the smartphone, it is expected on April 22 in the brand’s domestic market in China. Although details of the delay are unknown, the company said the main reason for the postponement is the impact of the global pandemic on the supply chain.

Honor also added that customers who have already paid full price online for pre-orders can receive the smartphone earlier as the company will ship the device before April 22. For customers who have booked the device at retail, stores should contact them as soon as possible.
The news was published on Honor’s official Weibo account, saying that Honor and its supply chain partners are hard at work to overcome the difficulties caused by the global pandemic. In addition, the firm is doing its best to increase production to meet demand.
