Honor has focused on increasing its retail presence. According to official information, Honor is set to open about 300 new Honor Experience stores in China in the first week of October.
In these new stores, shoppers will be able to try out, among others, the flagship smartphone of the Honor Magic3 series, as well as the new multi-camera photography technology that was introduced a few days ago. After independence, the company launched its own online store in January this year, called the Honor Mall, which sells smartphones, tablets, smart displays, laptops, headphones, and smartwatches, among others. The company also focuses on offline shopping and is in the process of opening thousands of new retail stores around the world. As of August 2021, the number of Honor’s Experience stores has increased by 68% compared to the beginning of the year.
Honor CEO George Zhao reported last month that the company’s offline sales accounted for more than 70% of total sales. Interestingly, as part of Huawei, Honor was the leading online sales company in China.
As we previously reported, Honor has returned to the top 3 smartphone manufacturers in its country with a market share of 14.6%.
