Honor today unveiled its first flagship smartphone after the separation from Huawei, called the Honor V40.
Honor CEO Zhao Ming said that Honor has achieved the technology that will enable Honor to provide users with the best possible performance in accordance with its hardware and software capabilities.
Zhao Ming noted that many smartphones from other manufacturers reveal no more than 70% of their capabilities. Thanks to breakthroughs in system architecture and customization, Honor devices can now achieve 90% or even 100% hardware performance.

For this, the developers have carefully optimized the software and hardware components, worked on acceleration technologies and made the most of the capabilities of the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ single-chip system. Even though the Honor V40 uses the same operating system and mobile platform as its competitors, the difference between the two is significant. Using Link Turbo technologies, GPU Turbo X and memory management engine, Honor was able to get more performance with the same chipset.
GPU Turbo technology originally appeared on smartphones based on Huawei Kirin. Honor engineers have refined it, and now GPU Turbo X technology, which accelerates the performance of the GPU, can be used in future Honor smartphones with different SoCs.
