A creepy video has been captured as a woman is dragged by an excavator to an intersection in Brooklyn of New York.
The tragic incident took place on Friday afternoon, when the 61-year-old nurse Estelle Davis was going to work.
The woman was walking towards the sidewalk and the operator of the machine did not see her, dragging her. He hit her on the head and excavator he kept moving, passing over her.
The woman was taken to hospital, but ended up shortly after her injuries.
Her 59-year-old husband, Cleveland Thomas Jr., told a local newspaper that doctors called him to go immediately to hospital. He unknowingly passed by the spot of her fatal injury, as he stays a few blocks away.
He did not catch her alive: “When I went to the hospital and saw her body, I kissed her and I kissed her and I kissed her and I cried.” They have been together since school, for 48 years…
