A woman died a horrible death when a metal construction with karaoke screens fell on her and crushed her. The unfortunate woman was celebrating her birthday that night in one of her clubs Russia.
Tatiana Pokhorenko, 35, died instantly after a 200-pound metal structure with six screens fell on her in the western Siberian city of Surgut, according to the Daily Mail.
The horrific incident was recorded by security cameras at the Gallery Club, where Tatiana was celebrating birthday her with friends.
The video shows him dancing under the construction with karaoke screens hanging from the ceiling. The construction shook and suddenly fell on the unfortunate woman.
The pictures then show the shocked eyewitnesses running to the spot and removing the metal structure.
Rescuers said she died shortly after arriving at club after a phone call they received.
David Skvortsov, who was working as a DJ at the club when the tragedy occurred, told local media: “I raised the screens so that customers on the first floor could also enjoy karaoke. At one point, the screens fell and killed the woman. “
The owner of the club, Semen Kopaigora, was accused of causing death by negligence. His sentence was suspended for three years.
According to prosecutors, Kopaigora “installed the construction with the screens without making sure that all security measures are observed.”
The court explained the sentence to the owner, citing mitigating circumstances. The fact that he has two small children, his actions towards the relatives of the victim and the fact that he confessed his guilt were taken into account.
