As stated by hurriyet.com.tr the torturer parents who lived in Bursa, were exposed when a relative of the family recorded their horrific acts on video and sent the documents to the police.
The four children aged between 2 and 10 were living the absolute nightmare. As seen in the video, the parents covered the children’s mouths with tape so that their voices could not be heard as they burned their bodies with lighters, while slapping and beating them with sticks.
The police swung into action after receiving the footage of the nightmare, with the mother and father arrested and taken to jail.
“I hit our children because he wanted to,” the mother allegedly said accusing her husband, while the father testified he said: “I have no idea about the incident.”
The children were placed under the protection of the Provincial Directorate of Social Services.
