The untold nightmare was lived by two girls in India, when 8 men dragged them to a forest and raped them in groups for hours, until they lost consciousness.
The police managed to arrest them. The two girls, two girlfriends aged 14 and 15, were out as part of an Indian holiday celebration on Monday afternoon. They knew the men, they were from the same area in the state of Tripura.
The group of perpetrators, all aged 19-22, approached the girls and they were all celebrating together. Only the girls did not return home that night.
According to the Times of India, the men took the girls to a forest and sexually abused for hours, until they fainted.
They returned home on Tuesday morning and had visible signs of injuries. They were taken to hospital for first aid, where they remain.
The girls’ parents informed the police and the arrests of all 8 men were not long in coming. “The accused took the girls to a forest and they raped in groups all night. “When they fainted, they left as they believed they were dead,” said a police officer.
