A 52-year-old man confessed to killing and dismembering his roommate after an argument, three days after the body was found beheaded roadside to the southwest France. The victim’s roommate confessed crime and was prosecuted for homicide.
Montauban’s attorney, Anne Golier, said that during the investigations, the suspect was identified and arrested, who lived with the victim a few hundred meters from where the body was found, transmits the APE-MPE.
He kicked his friend and dismembered him to hide him
The detainee confessed that on the night of Thursday to Friday he killed his friend by kicking and stabbing him with a knife and then dismembered the corpse to hide it. They had previously consumed alcohol and quarreled intensely.
The 52-year-old suspect hails from the island of Reunion in the Indian Ocean and has previously been convicted by French courts of insulting public opinion and threatening to kill him.
Friday afternoon, two people walking found the corpse on the side of the road. The victim’s head was found the next day, in a plastic bag, at a distance of about 100 meters.
The 31-year-old victim was also known to police for theft and other offenses.
