Hong Kong police made three arrests over the killing and dismemberment: Her ex-husband’s father, mother and older brother have been arrested and will be charged with murder. Her ex-husband has not yet been located, according to the Guardian report.
The traces of the 28-year-old had been lost for days. When the Police arrived at her ex-father-in-law’s house in the village of Lung Mei Tsuen they couldn’t believe what they saw: inside the refrigerator were the limbs of the young lady, while the authorities continue to search for the rest of her body.
According to police, the village house had recently been rented and was unfurnished, suggesting it was set up to dispose of the model. “We believe the victim and her ex-husband’s family had many financial differences which involved huge sums. “Someone was unhappy with the way the victim was managing her assets,” said Deputy Constable Alan Chang.
