Horror in Sudan: At least 18 civilians dead in paramilitary raids in northern Cordopan

At least 18 civilians were killed on Thursday by paramilitaries in the state of North Cordopan, in the western part of Sudan, where a civil war has been raging for more than two years, a non -governmental organization said on Saturday. This state, the theater of hard battles between the paramilitaries of the Rapid Support Forces (DIFA) and the regular army, has been isolated and communications are in essence non -existent. According to Emergency Lawyers, which records atrocities committed on both sides from the outbreak of war, paramilitaries attacked two villages south of Umm Curadim on Thursday, where “18 civilians” were killed and injured.
