A Louisiana man tied a woman to the steering wheel of a BMW and then stabbed her in the neck in a live broadcast at Facebook until he dies, according to prosecutors.
Earl Lee Johnson Jr., 35, of Baton Rouge, is charged with murder of 34-year-old Janice David, whose naked body was found by his police in the partially burned white BMW 5-Series on Monday night.
Someone who saw the video of the attack on a live Facebook feed alerted Facebook, which in turn contacted authorities, according to reports. The 15-minute video has also been described as “horrific” and has been removed from social media.
During a news conference Tuesday to announce her arrest, police said Johnson and David were in a multi-day “drug rampage” before he tied her up, beat her and stabbed her.
The perpetrator accuses the victim of going to steal his drugs
A gruesome video showing part of the incident, which is too embarrassing to reproduce, shows Johnson accusing his alleged victim of stealing drugs, while she murmurs in agreement.

“They were apparently involved in some drug use together for a few days and the end result – as everyone saw on Facebook Live – is a very horrific act,” said police spokesman L’Jean McKneely.
In an excerpt from the gruesome video shared by Unfiltered with Kiran, Johnson appears to be sweating while out of the BMW passenger seat, accusing the victim, who is breathing heavily next to him in the driver’s seat, of trying to steal drugs and escape.

The suspect continues the delusion before looking at the camera of the mobile phone, saying: “and guess what?” before stabbing David in the leg with a knife wrapped in an orange handkerchief.
Shortly before the end of the video clip, David is heard panting heavily from the wound and repeatedly begging Johnson to stop, repeatedly saying “please.”
Investigators, meanwhile, added that Johnson tried to set fire to the stolen car and that he was already in custody when David’s body was found, which led to his confession to the horrific murder.
