One pair of from Pennsylvania is facing multiple categories as he was accused of torturing their six-year-old daughter and locking her up in a dog cage during the night. Jacob William Weight Sr., 37, and Mimi Ann Frost, 33, were charged in Fayette County with felony attackcorruption of minors, strangulation and child welfare endangerment.
The investigation began Feb. 6 when authorities were dispatched to the couple's home in Brownsville Borough after the child fell unconscious, Pennsylvania State Police said. When they arrived, they found the house in “miserable situation”, filled with dog feces, garbage and urine. Footage from inside the home shows one large dog cage in the living room with blankets and trash around him.
The child's father called 911 after the six-year-old suffered an apparent crisis when one of the other children living in the house tried to give her a bath. The children told the policemen that the girl had locked in a dog cage and beaten with a broom.
“For lack of a better way to put it, he was tortured in that house,” Fayette County District Attorney Mike Aubele told KDKA. He said the father did not allow the first officers inside and drove the six-year-old himself. The little girl's body was covered in open sores and was believed to be septic. When he arrived at Uniontown Hospital, she was found to be hypothermic. Of the six children who lived in the home, only the six-year-old was targeted, police said. Four of the others were the couple's children and one was a nephew, reports the Daily Mail.

The nephew told police that Frost tied the little girl's hands and feet with zip ties and refused to wash her. Another child said the parents wanted the 6-year-old to eat their leftovers.
“The 6-year-old child was living in this cage naked without food. He was punished if he managed to escape from this cage to go get some food” the prosecutor said, adding that there were indications that “at least some” of the other children participated in the abuse.
