A shocking story is coming to light. A father confessed to raping his baby to record his gruesome acts and send the footage to other pedophiles online, according to Britain’s Daily Mail.
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to a series of charges in relation to his act after his home was raided as part of a national child abuse investigation.
In its Supreme Court Tasmania on Monday, the man admitted to raping his four-month-old child in January to create child exploitation images. He even admitted to using the messaging app Wickr to send the images to another man.
Prosecutor Lisa Pennington said the man was communicating with other pedophiles through apps.
Before recording the video with rape of his son, he texted another man, asking, “Do you want to see me and my baby boy?”
Pennington said other men also sent the father child exploitation material.
The baby’s mother told the court she is “deeply shocked, in constant denial and completely devastated” by his actions.
His sentence is expected to be announced in November.
