A friend of Preta Gil shared a photo of the singer in the hospital, in which she appears makeup and with a plate of acai berry next door. The artist has been hospitalized in São Paulo since April 7 for medical monitoring of her cancer.
“For those who are asking for her, it’s here makeup and eating acai,” wrote Malu Barbosa in a photo published around 6 pm on Saturday (12).
Before being admitted to São Paulo last Sunday (7), Preta spent days in a hospital in Rio de Janeiro. While waiting for discharge, Canta plans to travel to the United States in search of a new treatment, according to the press office.
In the battle against cancer, Preta was recently discharged after being admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) due to a urinary tract infection that reached the right kidney. Gilberto Gil’s daughter was still almost two months old after a long surgery to remove tumors in December 2024.
