Hotels in the Sacred Valley, Peru, have transparent cabins suspended 400m high

Imagine sleeping in a fully transparent cabin suspended 400m high? Now imagine a 360 degree view of the Sacred Valley of Cusco , at the Peru , and all the natural beauties that surround it, with a super starry sky, mountains and green everywhere? With a good dash of luxury and 100% security, this is a brief description of the experience that select guests of two Natura Vive group hotels have in this region.

The first project, inaugurated in 2013, is the Skylodge Adventure and consists of three suites that can accommodate up to 12 people in total. Made of aerospace aluminum and high-strength polycarbonate, each ‘capsule’ has four beds, dining area and bathroom in approximately 60m2. There are six windows and four ventilation ducts that guarantee a comfortable environment.

Access to them is via a trail – Via Ferrata – or a zip line. The lighting system is powered by solar panels, which store energy in batteries, and of course, curtains are available for guests to have more privacy. The maximum weight is 120kg and the minimum age is 15 years. The daily rate starts at about 1575 soles per person (Peruvian currency), approximately R$ 2,000.

In 2021, the group inaugurated a new hotel with the same proposal. O Starlodge Adventure offers six renovated facilities at 2,900 meters above sea level, with a maximum capacity of 24 people, following the same line as the first.

In addition to having hydromassage baths, access to these cabins is easier, via simple stairs in a few minutes of walking.

In both hotels, as soon as they arrive at the facilities, guests have a safety talk and can also opt for separate tours exploring the adventure sports activities that the region offers.
