The hotel sector in the city of Rio de Janeiro recorded 85% occupancy on this holiday of the All Souls (2). Among the regions most sought after by tourists, downtown (93.31%), Flamengo/Botafogo (92.02%), Ipanema/Leblon (84.82%), Leme/Copacabana (83.34%) stand out and Barra da Tijuca/São Conrado (82.26%).
Even with the forecast of cloudy periods during the four days of prolonged rest, the capital of Rio de Janeiro continued to attract a lot of people.
At the bus station, 1,300 extra buses were made available. Santos Dumont airport calculated an increase of more than 30% in passengers compared to the same period last year. At Tom Jobim International Airport, this growth can be almost 70%.

The city has surpassed the 67% mark of its population completely immunized and has the lowest risk of contagion of the disease since the beginning of the new coronavirus pandemic.
