Former President Donald Trump used social media this Thursday (27) to attack President Joe Biden before the presidential debate in CNN which will take place from 10 pm today (Brasília time).
“Joe Biden is a threat to democracy and a threat to the survival and existence of our country,” Trump wrote on the Truth Social network.
Biden’s campaign, in turn, prepared for multiple versions of Trump for tonight’s debate: the aggressive version that appeared in the debate in 2020 and even made personal insults against Biden or a more restrained version.
If Trump opts for the more restrained version, Biden’s team hopes that well-practiced attacks and constant rebuttals can help lead the former president to adopt the aggressive language, which Democrats believe will alienate voters.
