“House of the Dragon” spin-off of “Game of Thrones” , was renewed for a third season three days before the second premiered. The third part of the series was announced by HBO this Thursday (13). The second premieres next Sunday (16).
“The dragon dance continues,” wrote the television network via social media. The announcement was accompanied by a small teaser.

“House of the Dragon” takes place around 180 years before the plot portrayed in “Game of Thrones” and focuses on the Targaryen dynasty.
In the plot of the second season, after the conflicts shown in the previous episodes, the new season will follow the beginning of a possible civil war between the Targaryens. The conflict takes place between House Velaryon, possessing the largest navy in Westeros and more than a dozen dragons, and the rise of King Aegon II.
Names like Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell and more return to the plot.
Furthermore, Abubakar Salim, Gayle Rankin, Freddie Fox and Simon Russell Beale become part of the cast.
The first episode will be released next Sunday (16th) on Max, with each episode being released weekly until August 4th.
