“House of the Dragon”: season 2 gets premiere date and two new trailers

A second season of “A Casa do Dragão” premieres on June 16, at 10 pm, on the HBO channel and the Max streaming platform .

The eight episodes will be released every Sunday, at the same time.

HBO released two new season trailers this Thursday (21), asking fans of the series choose your side between the Green Council and the Black Council . Check out the rival trailers:

“House of the Dragon” is a spin-off of “Game of Thrones” which focuses on the Targaryen dynasty. The plot takes place 200 years before the events of the series released in 2011.

The new season will address the civil war between the Targaryens, where everyone will have to choose their side. The Green and Black Councils fight for King Aegon and Queen Rhaenyra, respectively.

Each side believes the Iron Throne belongs to them. The Green and Black trailers present these two different perspectives, but which complement the same story.

The cast of “House of the Dragon” features big names such as Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D'Arcy, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno and Rhys Ifans. Also returning this season are actors Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall and Matthew Needham.

Clinton Liberty, Jamie Kenna, Kieran Bew, Tom Bennett, Tom Taylor, Vincent Regan, Abubakar Salim, Gayle Rankin, Freddie Fox and Simon Russell Beale join the cast in this new season.
