Civil deaths

At least 13 civilians were killed and nine were injured in the capital Sanaa, according to the Ministry of Health managed by the Houthis.

Another six, including four children and one woman, were killed and 11 were injured in a US attack on Saada province in the north, Al-Masirah TV, administered by the Houthis.

Trump announces attack against Houthis

The attacks ordered by US President Donald Trump occurred a few days after the Houthis announced plans to resume attacks on Israel’s ships in the Red and Arabic seas, the Bab Al-Mandab Strait and the Gulf of Aden, ending a period of relative calm started in January with the ceasefire in Gaza.

Trump had warned the Houthis that “hell will fall upon you” if they kept attacking commercial vessels and US war ships.
