The House of Representatives last week approved a provisional measure that makes it mandatory for health plans to cover oral cancer drugs.
According to the approved rules, in order for the patient to be able to demand the offer of the drug, he must present the medical prescription and that the drug has been registered with the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) and included in the list of obligations of the plans defined by the Agency. National Supplementary Health (ANS). The MP establishes a period of 120 days, extendable by 60, for the ANS to analyze the inclusion of oral cancer drugs.
