Apple is preparing to release a reissue of its cheapest smartphone in the lineup – the iPhone SE. However, in addition to the third generation iPhone SE, a more expensive variation awaits us.
Details of the iPhone SE Plus were reported by an Apple Lab user on Twitter. The debut of the iPhone SE Plus is expected later than the iPhone SE 3 – in the second half of 2021.
The smartphone is credited with the following features: 6.1-inch IPS screen, 7-megapixel front camera (FaceTime HD), 12-megapixel main camera, Apple mobile platform A14 (but maybe A13) Bionic, fingerprint scanner in the home button, protection against water IP67.
Note that the illustration given by the source does not match the description, since there is no home button with Touch ID, but the cutout with the Face ID system, on the contrary, is present.
The smartphone will be offered in three colors – black, white and red – at a price of $ 499 in the US and 589 euros in Europe. For comparison, last year’s iPhone SE starts at $ 399 in the US and € 479 in Europe.
