Apple is now preparing to release a new generation of Apple Watch smartwatches. According to a recent patent found in the US Patent Office database, Apple could make the watch thinner while increasing battery life.

The patent describes an interesting development that will eliminate the need for a separate vibration motor that provides tactile feedback in response to user input. As planned by Apple, the battery can be combined with a tactile feedback unit.

At the moment, a special metal die is used in the feedback unit, the movement of which creates vibration. In place of this plate, you can install a battery that will quite cope with additional functions. The freed up space can be set aside to increase the battery capacity, as well as reduce the overall thickness of the gadget.
Of course, as is usually the case with patents, we cannot say with certainty when we will see this development on store shelves.
